Mechanical/Reliability/Project Engineer

Develop and Oversee, building on existing systems, a comprehensive mechanical integrity program that complies with PSM and API standards. Develop and oversee, building on existing systems, a comprehensive reliability improvement process including critical equipment analysis, key equipment,metrics, PM, PDM, delivering improved equipment on-stream time which in turn improves overall plant on-stream time. Implement Koch Reliability Centered Maintenance process. Manage capital/expense projects including: AFE/scope development/justification/financial analysis, equipment design, preparation of cost estimates, equipment installation, cost tracking, construction coordination/scheduling/compliance with EHS regulations/permits, inspections/approvals of material/time, and associated document management. Initiate and review opportunities to maximize site equipment reliability with a ficus on equipment availability, equipment downtime reduction, and maintenance cost reductions. Facilitate and participate in equipment Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Mean Time Between Failure Analysis (MTBF) as required. Preform continuing Risk Based Analysis (RBA) of plant assets. Prepare and review Management of Change (MOC) as required. Provide day-to-day mechanical / MI / reliability engineering support to the plant as needed. Assure compliance with all EHS procedures, OSHA/PSM regulations, FHR Cardinal Rules, etc. Ability to obtain and maintain API-510, API-570, and API-653 certification. Job Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Process Engineering. 5+ years relevant work experience. Working knowledge of plant equipment including fixed, rotating and pressure valves. Ability to work cross functionally in a team-based reliability and mechanical reliability environment. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with internal and external customers and suppliers. Strong project management and leadership skills.
