REQUIREMENTS
• Proficiency in Solidworks a must.
• Clear understanding of dimensioning standards and conventions.
• General understanding of quality control and it’s inspection methods and principles
• Hands on experience with inspection tools like, calipers, micrometers, gauges and meters.
• Ability to work with others and effectively multi task are a must.
• Capability to effectively communicate technical related issues with vendors and or suppliers is a plus.
• Inspection certifications if any are a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Generate 3d models that effectively illustrate conceptual design and intent.
• Formulate fully dimensioned drawings of these models and other models provided.
• Support quality control with updated drawings and convey crucial inspection instructions.
• Design inspection fixtures and or go-no go gauges for quality control.
• Inspect, qualify and formulate associated inspection reports of pre-production engineering samples.
