Materials Coordinator

In addition to sales offices in North America, the company has a sales presence in Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Belgium to serve global customers.Roles, Responsibilities & Expectations-Perform timely and efficient daily maintenance of Material Management data in Maximo so that all business units are completely supported-Updated and maintain project materials management software to execute materials management functions further described below.-Enter field construction requisitions into Maximo and forward to Procurement as needed.-Produce required material reports for the project including but not limited to status reports of Purchase Orders, inventory reports, short and back order reports, and forecasts. Reports will consist of report by overall project and by work breakdown structure.-Work in warehousing and inventory management, including storing received materials in an organized fashion and maintaining real time inventory of materials in warehouse-Receiving of materials as the arrive at the project site, including verifying packing lists against physical receipts and original requisitions/purchase orders. Appropriately notifying procurement and construction supervision of back orders and shorts. Maintaining proper receipt data in Maximo.-Receipt and input of daily time sheets into Tracks system in support of construction groups.-Creation of Maximo work orders for project work and closure of work orders upon completion.-Document control for completed projects for inclusion of engineering files-Role requires participation in facility maintenance shutdowns and turnaroundsWork Experience/Skills REQUIRED-Previous work experience in Construction or Turnaround setting-Must be proficient in Microsoft Office softwares including Excel, Work and Powerpoint. -Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, combined with organizational skills and attention to detail.Work Experience/Skills PREFERRED-Tracks Labor Entry System experience-Maximo and/or Materials management database experienceEducation REQUIRED High School Diploma or EquivalentEducation PREFERREDSome level of secondary educationPhysical Demands or Unusual Working ConditionsTypical plant working environment Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
