MANUFACTURING ENGINEER (Req #08-01020) Azonix Corporation has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer at its headquarters in Billerica, MA.  Azonix, a division of Crane Co., designs, manufacturers, packages and markets, engineered rugged computing solutions for specific niche applications in the Oil and Gas exploration, transportation and Military markets As Manufacturing Engineer, the individual will use Lean principles to develop and maintain assembly cells to meet production demand & metrics, as well as instruct production personnel on the proper execution of cell process including assembly techniques. Will develop and maintain process documentation for all manufacturing/assembly processes and will lead continuous improvement projects to improve manufacturing efficiency and reduce costs. Additionally, the manufacturing engineer will trouble shoot and instruct for corrective action on assembly related manufacturing problems.  And will be responsible for process development for any new processes and/or products introduced.  Review product documentation to support production/supplier requirements and review engineering change orders are also part of the scope of this position.
