Manager, Global Marketing--COSMETICS/FRAGRANCE

Global Cosmetics Manufacturer seeks a Manager, Global Marketing for a high-profile, hip, savvy, "downtown", "natural" Brand. Responsible for Global Marketing activities related to the categories: FACE, SKINCARE, BRUSHES, and FRAGRANCE. Primary responsibility is to develop and manage new product and program launches in the above categories.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Manage New Product and Program Launches from Concept to Launch

+Participate in concept and calendar development. Direct Creative Packaging and Copy by developing Creative Briefs and inputting team. Work hand in hand with cross functional partners to bring new programs to market (Product Development, New Launch Management, Creative, Education). Move programs forward by completing Project Start Forms and Develop COGS, Pricing and Forecasting scenarios. Develop and post Bulletins to effectively communicate new programs to market.

Guide Launch Unit Development

+Determine product mix to feature on unit and provide creative input on platform design. Provide design direction for litho via Creative Brief. Record and track in CPMS.

Develop Category Analyses

+Evaluate category and competitive performance on an ongoing basis. Perform annual Category and Competitive reviews to identify opportunities. Work with Product Development to create concepts for new products based on findings.

Pricing Strategy

+Analyze competitive pricing. Evaluate brand pricing annually and make recommendations.

Create and manage Skincare and Fragrance sampling programs

+Develop new programs that are both strategically and creatively compelling. Ensure timely offering and communication of programs.

Supports Director in 'side by side' development and evaluation.

+Work with forecasting to measure forecasts against previous season and annual goals.

Sell Sheets

+Drive this process through the Creative Team.

Seasonal Shoots

+Organize items needed for Product and Model Shoots.

Internet

+Review and approve content for sight.

QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ solid years experience in Cosmetics/Beauty Marketing. Strong oral and written communication skills as well as interpersonal and team building capabilities with internal cross functional groups. Demonstrates ownership of projects and drives project to closure. Detailed oriented. Must have a balance of Creative and Analytical skills. Must be a strategic thinker.
