Carlsbad, CA 92008Status: Â Â Full Time, Employee Job Category: Â Â IT/Software Development Relevant Work Experience: Â Â 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Â Â Manager (Manager/Supervisor of Staff) Job Summary This leadership Information Technology position is responsible for the design, development & management of all business system solutions for Callaway Golf’s global planning, production control and execution solutions. This entails collaborative interaction and coordination with all levels of functional area personnel as well as multiple points-of-contact within our global subsidiaries, suppliers and vendors. This position is expected to accurately and consistently anticipate business need (solutions, benchmarks, examples, best-practices, out-of-the-box thinking re alternatives) and effectively contribute this thinking to the business partnership. Position will manage a team of technical/analytical resources, and will be accountable for alignment of priorities and resources with business direction, timeline and budget commitments. Specific areas of responsibilities include management and support of business processes for Plan to Make scenarios which includes Product Development, Variant Configuration, Forecasting and Demand Planning, Material Requirement Planning, Supplier Network Planning, Global ATP, Plant Maintenance, Production Control, Production Quality and Production Order Processing and Execution for Discrete, MTO, and Process manufacturing environments. Management of ERP IT solutions for product life cycle management PLM, R/3 PP Production Planning, Supply Chain Management (APO DP, APO SNP, etc.), Production Control, Production Order processing and their integrations with all other ERP functions. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Partner with business areas and lead the IT design, development and implementation of global business solutions in support of Planning and Production Execution processes and logistics support on time, within budget and involving multiple platforms and multi-tiered architectures within the main framework of SAP R/3, PP, APO, PLM, Variant Configuration and WM Minimum of 3 years experience managing and developing functional teams as part of a large SAP implementation / organization centered on Supply Chain processes. Proven track record managing non-SAP applications important as well. Established background in Supply Chain Process Design and Reengineering Extensive hands on experience in project planning and ERP delivery. Project management training and/or PMP certification highly desirable Proven ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization. Experience integrating internal ERP platform with 3rd Party Logistics Providers (3PLs), Subcontractors, and OEM manufacturers a plus. Candidate must have strong analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills and involving multiple platforms and multi-tiered architectures Collaborate with peers to assure optimal resource deployment for the company as a whole. Mentor/develop/motivate staff of technical and analytical resources. Ongoing evaluation of direct staff for required skills and experience Participate in the establishment and enforcement of best-practice work processes and standards Implement and use (fact-based) metrics to continuously improve on quality and efficiency of solutions and to validate business value delivered Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Enterprise SCM architect with superior expertise in SAP PP and APO business solutions and hands on configuration skills including SAP R/3, PP, APO and other SCM functions Strong management and leadership skills: people, process and technology Strategic thinking and solid supply chain management skills Extensive experience with global manufacturing, distribution and product development operations for consumer products or global manufacturing company Extensive experience in IT management, particularly in global companies with centralized ERP implementations and enterprise e-business implementations Understand global manufacturing, distribution and product development processes. Coupled with broad and deep knowledge of technical/analytical models and solutions Education and/or Experience: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, computer science or related degree.
