SEEKING A SEASONED IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER FOR A CONTRACT-HIRE POSITION IN THE HOUSTON METRO AREA!! If you meet the minimum requirements below, please submit your updated resume to Jennifer at jennifer.gustin@modis.com  .  · The ideal candidate will be based in Houston; However, there is an option to have the ramp-up period to sit in Houston for the first 3-4 months and then you may be housed anywhere throughout the US.  The 3-4 months is non-negotiable and travel costs will not be covered for your convenience because of this.  · This candidate needs to be a self motivated and self starter to meet with various clients and be willing to do much “hand-holding” as projects get started and under-way.  This candidate will have no direct supervision day to day. · It is extremely imperative to this role that this candidate possess business experience, i.e.; showing problem solving abilities, in either Transportation, manufacturing, supply chain, logistics, etc. · This candidate would also have understanding and full working knowledge with EDI IT mapping; it does not matter as to which one but an understanding of how they work and an ability to logically map it. The EDI experience is secondary to having the transportation business experience; this is an area that the management team is willing to train if the candidate has a strong transportation background.· Position offers diversity in that candidate will never do the same thing twice. · Position is required to do approximately 10-20% incremental travel which will be doing both domestic and going to South America.  This will be travel in the break-down of 2-4 day stints and travel costs are taken care of fully by client; meals will be reimbursed. · This position works as the liaison between business and IT. No programming is required. Position will work mainly with customer's proprietary software/files and import them into DHL systems. · This candidate ideally would have have experience with Materials Management System (MMS); implementations of some sort. Years experience could be as few as 2. Description: Candidate would have an understanding of Transportation and Logistics. Other acceptable backgrounds would be Manufacturing or Warehouse Map and implement customer EDI Business IT Analysis Capture and Document System Requirements (SRS, System Requirement Specification) Coordinate and Prepare Project Resources for Implementation (User Training, SOP and Operation User Manuals) General MMS Project / User Support Job Reference Code: JMG-ImpMngr Company: Modis, Inc.
