Due to continued growth and success, Owens Illinois (O-I) is currently seeking a qualified Lotus Notes Application Developer to provide global Notes application development and ongoing technical support on existing applications. The successful candidate will help structure and implement an Information Technology organization into a global center of excellence aligned to meet global support requirements.

As a Lotus Notes Application Developer, you will: Design and develop new Notes applications and maintain existing applications Develop program specifications, conduct systems analysis, configure software, perform integration system testing, complete documentation, and implement solutions to meet business requirements through O-I standard RUP or ASAP methodology Provide technical application support, support users on help desk items, and deliver weekly status reports Collaborate with IT colleagues to deliver IT solutions Assist with establishing or refining work procedures/standards Maintain knowledge of computing developments in application development



Required Skills and Qualifications: 5-8 years experience in developing and supporting Notes applications Experience with version 6.5 environment, (version 8 environment is a strong plus) Web Based Notes application development experience Experience leading, managing, supporting, and completing complex development projects, assignments, implementations, or upgrades Ability to analyze business needs and provide technical solutions Experience using formal software development methodologies IBM Certifications, Bilingual, a plus Bachelor’s Degree
