Logistics Finance Manager

Position Summary

 

Manage all North America Logistics financial planning and reporting.  Provide financial analysis support to the North America Logistics and Operational Managers including special projects, monthly forecasting, KPI management, and risk and opportunity evaluations.

Liaison between Operational Managers and the North America Controller.  Maintain financial controls, test procedures, and flow charts to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

·  Provide financial analytical support to Supply Chain projects and create financial logistical models

 

·  Manage all financial reporting including logistics financial plans, bi-annual and mid month financial forecasts, and actual results.

 

·  Develop, implement, and maintain control procedures, tests, and flow charts.  Insure standardized operating procedures and full audit compliance.

 

·  Identify, track, and report critical Operational and Financial KPIs each month. 

 

·  Oversee and manage relationship with third-party freight payment company.

 

·  Lead a team of two Financial Analysts. 

 

Minimum Requirements

 

·  Bachelors degree in Logistics, Finance, Accounting, or related business discipline 

 

·  4 years of related financial and/or logistics operations experience

 

·  Supervisory experience

 

·  Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Access, and Excel)
