If you're as excited about the future as we are, consider this opportunity.We are looking for a Lead Systems Analyst to join our Global Information Technology organization to support Mattel's domestic supply chain business applications. The selected candidate will work as part of a team of Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Application Developers, and will provide application development and production support services for a broad range of systems. These systems are implemented using various technology platforms, but are primarily IBM iSeries/AS400 based systems. As a Lead System Analyst, the selected candidate will be expected to work with Business Analysts to understand business and system requirements and needs, and will be primarily responsible for developing new system designs, or extending existing systems, to meet those business needs. They will also be expected to further develop those designs into system specifications, which can then be acted against by the application developers assigned to the development efforts.The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:' Demonstrate a high degree of system analysis and design skills applied against a broad set of Information Technology platforms, in particular, AS400 based applications utilizing COBOL and RPG.' Demonstrate a high degree of data analysis and database design skills applied against targeted relational database management systems, such as DB2.' Demonstrate a high degree of skill in the area of developing detailed system specifications for turnover to teams of application developers. ' Extensive experience with planning and carrying out quality assurance of delivered systems, for example, developing and executing system test plans.' Excellent verbal and written communication skill with solid multi-tasking skills.' Strong customer service and customer management skills.' Proficient in estimating and planning all aspects of application development and support work efforts' Experience with both large and small scale business application development efforts as well as experience with support of production business applications.' The ability to handle multiple business application assignments across multiple, complex business application domains, i.e., order management, warehouse management, etc.' Experience operating as a system analyst utilizing an offshore development model is a major plus.' Experience supporting applications in the order management, warehouse management, inventory management, and invoice management subject domains a major plus. ' A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.' 10+ years of Information Technology experience, including at least 6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with a steady show of increasing level of responsibilities supporting complex business applications.Mattel is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity EmployerM/F/V/D Contact Information Company: Mattel, Inc.
