LDAR Technician

In addition to sales offices in North America, the company has a sales presence in Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Belgium to serve global customers.Roles, Responsibilities & ExpectationsThe LDAR Technician will be responsible for the following: calibrations and maintenance of the LDAR instruments (TVA's); ensuring new process equipment is added into the LDAR database and also tagged appropriately in the field; conducting quality assurance audits of the existing LDAR database against the status in the field and the status noted on drawings; conducting audits, including comparative monitoring, of the LDAR contractor to ensure performance is adequate; assisting maintenance in LDAR-driven repairs; and assisting the LDAR contractor in troubleshooting issues as they arise.Work Experience/Skills REQUIRED 5 years of industrial experience (i.e. fitting, welding, instrumentation, etc.) or 3 years chemical plant or refinery experience (i.e. Operations, Maintenance, etc.) or Environmental background with LDAR experience.Work Experience/Skills PREFERRED LDAR /Fugitive Emission Monitoring (Method 21) with TVA 1000B and Calibration experience.Education REQUIRED H.S.
