Key Account Manager - Industrial & Food Service
Our Client, an leading dairy products producer, seeks a strategic leader to further expand sales within its most dynamic division. Its products are known for their bold and unique flavor profiles. For over 50 years its value added brands have been recognized for innovation and quality. During that time, key growth has been accomplished through its innovative approach within the Food Service, Industrial and Retail channels. This manufacturer is looking for an individual to further expand its sales to well known food accounts located in the Central and Western U.S. Key emphasis for the position with be focused on identifying business opportunities with well known Food Manufacturing as well as selected multi-unit Food Service accounts. To support these activities this leader will team with corporate chefs and retained outside culinary organizations to develop innovative product offerings to support client menu development. Additional responsibilities will be centered around the development of target account plans, formulation of client usage reports and identification of product innovation opportunities. Other duties will include monitoring, tracking and analysis of competitive information and trends. Special duties will include collaboration with key company Marketing, R&D and Senior Management leaders to formulate quarterly action plans to be executed within the region. To qualify for the exciting opportunity you must posses a minimum of 3 years successful direct account sales experience focused on valued-added, culinary or epicurean products. Food Service sales success with National Multi-unit or large volume Chain Accounts is required. Additional experience with food related Industrial, Ingredient or Intra-industry sales, although not required, is highly valued. A background of collaboration with brokers and distributors to support National Account sales sets you apart. A Bachelor degree is required.
