Key Account Manager

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

 

In the role of Key Account Manager, you will manage and expand business with your assigned Key Accounts for the Kooky’s brand (www.thekookys.com) as well as all other Courage International product lines. 

Functions for key accounts include: Manage sales relationships Accurately forecast volume of sales and establish new sales targets. Maximize volume and revenue by utilizing fact-based selling methods. Achieve sales goals. Work with buyers to maximize sales through appropriate product assortments. Work with planners to establish appropriate replenishment levels. Cultivate strong relationships. Communicate with Operations on issues relating to inventory control, shipping, customer service and accounts receivable.  Take ownership in resolving problems as they relate to your assigned accounts. Ensure customers are complying with contract requirements. Prepare weekly sales reports for management regarding account activity. Prepare monthly sales reports analyzing marketplace trends, retail sales, individual account trends and competitive activity.

Education/Experience Requisites

  Bachelor degree required. 3-5 years of experience working in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry. Account management experience. Proven success in growing business. Forecasting experience. Computer proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint. Ability to travel 50-75%.
