Primary duties include: Michael Aram Inc is a high-end luxury wholesaler and retailer of table top and home decor is seeking a Junior Account Executive for its Wholesale/National Accounts.This position also has key administrative duties with sales and marketing teams. Responsibilties

· Cordinate sales activities with cross functional departments including marketing,visual store design,operations and merchandising

· Evaluation of client responsible orders to ensure proper content and product mix.

· Review and analyze retail sales information to enhance and improve the respective business within the clients markets.

· Collaborate with VP of Sales to develop long and short term sales goals

· Assist VP of Sales in field representitive activities and reporting.

Sales Preparation and Participation

· Attend and prepare for sales meetings. Support, or conduct, appointments as needed; travel and assit in set up of trade shows domestically and internationally as needed.

· Includes weekend trade show addendance and travel.

Order Processing, Auditing and Management

· Audit orders for prodcut availability

· Work closley with our logistics and customer service team to ensure customer needs are met .

· Document and resolve special requests and order/system discrepancies

· Manage and tracksample distribution .

· Work with logistics and with clients to resolve all order issues (modifications, discrepancies, etc.) and communicate changes to production.

Develop and maintain positive relationships with account buying and management organization.

Technical Backround

1 -2years experience in wholesale sales and/or 1-2years experience in sales management or buying.

Understanding of retail profitability components.

Ability to establish and build effective working relationships.
Strong business management skills.
Strong analytical ability, organizational, negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Very strong skills with various software applications including Excel and Word.
Ability to work independently.
This position requires overnight travel.
