We are focused on the future and are excited to tell the world that the best is yet to come.Currently, we are recruiting for an International Regulatory Compliance CoordinatorGeneral Responsibilities:Working with the Engineering Services Manager and globally located Regulatory Compliance Engineers, the International Regulatory Compliance Coordinator (IRCC) will coordinate the execution and timely completion of regulatory compliance engineering projects. The IRCC will determine project scope, collect project specifications and requirements, gather test plans for product certifications, and collect all resulting certification documentation. The IRCC will be ensure all regulatory compliance documentation required for the expeditious import into the United States and other countries, as required, is up to date and accessible to other organizations within the Company. The IRCC will participate in the activation of Part Numbers and the Engineering Change Order process to ensure that all products are and continue to be compliant with the regulations of the countries into which the products will be sold.The IRCC must be able to work closely with multiple business units and together with the Regulatory Compliance Engineers advise them on methods of integrating compliance requirements for agency approval as an early element in the product launch schedule.The IRCC will coordinate and prepare the document packages for US and international regulatory submissions, internal audits and inspections. The IRCC will oversee the compiling of all materials required in submissions, license renewal and annual registrations, monitor and improve tracking/control systems, and keep abreast of regulatory procedures. The IRCC must have strong project management skills. Specific Responsibilities:· Coordinate and manage worldwide compliance testing projects, including scheduling, communication with and submission to test labs and certifications bodies, ranging from domestic (UL, FCC, CSA, IC, etc.), to international (CB Scheme, Latin America, EU CE-mark, NZ/AUS and APAC Regions). · Report time and money spent on monthly basis for budgetary purposes · Monitor cost limits · Assist in preparation, submission and filing of technical application forms· Ensure that suppliers and importers comply with domestic and international regulations and that proper paperwork is maintained and filed· Generate regulatory related documentation under guidance from regulatory compliance engineers· Release regulatory test plans, reports, certifications, grants, DOCs, etc. into Agile PDM system.· Prepare for, assist with, or perform basic pre-compliance laboratory tests as directed by regulatory compliance engineers· Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date internal and external regulatory administrative and technical documentation.· Maintain international requirements database· Monitors expiration dates of standards and approvals· Administer international regulatory standards database · Interact directly and professionally with customers who request compliance information on company products. · Coordinate inter-departmental regulatory compliance training schedules· Assist as necessary in related corporate initiatives, including ISO 9001 certification, the implementation of the Agile PLM system, and the evolutions of packaging and labeling requirements. · Support Company’s Affirmative Action initiatives, providing equal opportunity to employees and candidates.· Fulfill responsibilities under OHSAS 18001, understand and fully support OHSAS 18001 system.· Maintain a safe and clean work environment.· Understand and follow company rules and regulations.· Perform all other duties as assigned and required.· Working closely with global regulatory compliance engineers schedules and coordinates regulatory compliance projects, within and outside of the organization (test houses, ODMs, etc.)· Manages project and testing schedules to maximize throughput.· Consults with regulatory compliance engineers, product and program managers, evaluates projects and reviews job cost and duration · Investigates international standards Education, Experience, & Requirements:· Associate Engineering Degree and/or a minimum of two years working in a regulatory compliance environment. If there is no engineering degree a minimum of the five years working in a similar technical position is required.· Must be detail-oriented; possess strong project management and organizational skills, good communication skills, problem solving and analytical skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Must be able to confidently act independently, collaboratively and authoritatively as necessary to implementing plans, processes, and procedures that affect multiple internal departments, suppliers, subcontractors, and customers.Specialized Knowledge & Skills:· Microsoft Office and Internet applications.
