International Order Services Representative
MAJOR FUNCTION:
As you communicate with assigned international distributors and interface with customers and all Toro divisions, you will manage international orders for distributors, subsidiaries, and direct sale customers. Assure order execution meets both U.S. export and destination import requirements while supporting corporate and divisional sales goals. Function as the liaison between Toro and the customer to assure product fulfillment in conjunction with all pricing, shipping, financial and documentation requirements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Facilitate customer order management
• Support corporate and division sales, and shipping requirements
• Work cross functionally internally with Sales, Finance, Distribution, Logistics, Inventory Management, Credit and Sourcing to establish and communicate availability / ETA on all product lines, obtain or ensure accuracy of Letters of Credit, and communicate any potential issues that may affect sales goal attainment.
• Maintain current knowledge and provide updates to internal and external customers, ensuring that all exports comply with requirements.
• Develop professional, on-going relationships with internal and external customers, to serve as a basis for effective communications and understanding of customer's business and requirements.
• Manage information flow between customers and Toro including open order and shipment status, current calculations on building their container. Identify and communicate any issues which would delay shipments.
• May work with direct sales customers and Toro field staff to resolve issues involving orders and shipping.
• Maintain knowledge of Toro products and procedures through ongoing training in order to make product application recommendations to customers and resolution of product parts and service support issues.
SPECIFICATIONS:
This position requires a Bachelors degree or equivalent and 3-5 years related experience in an international order services environment. A combination of experience in customer service, distribution and exporting may also meet the requirements. Effective interpersonal skills are essential; you must be patient, tactful and flexible with people from a wide range of cultural backgrounds and occupational disciplines. Planning and organizing abilities are vital. On-line distribution system, report generation, and personal computer experience is required as well as experience and knowledge of export-related documents and letters of credit. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Foreign language skills are a definite plus. You should have 4+ years SAP knowledge and use, and demonstrate proven systems skills.
