Sales/Retail/Business Development Relevant Work Experience: 5+ to 7 Years Career Level: Experienced (Non-Manager) Education Level: Bachelor's Degree Contact Information Reference Code: 2173 Job Description Industrial Sales Manager Job Responsibilities:  Grow Sales in the Southern Region of United States   Physical & Mental Demands:  Stress created with volume of work and time constraints necessary to complete.  Travel as required by car, air, etc. Emotional demands caused by customer contacts, customer problems, sales goals and deadlines under pressure.   Key Duties: 1. Grow Sales of Industrial Filtration products in the States of NC, SC, GA, AL, FL, MS, LA, TN, KY, and VA. a. Account growth with Existing Distributors b. New Lead generation (end-customers) c. Regularly visit end-customers to offer better solutions d. Support effective launch of new products (filed trials, launch etc)   2. Manage existing Distributors in regions: a. Provide in-field technical and customer support b. Drive Training for Distributors’ sales force c. Suggest new Distributors to replace underperforming ones   3. Regularly profile market-dynamics in region and create regional growth plans a. Competitive moves b. Pricing c. Anticipated customer gains and losses d. Identify/prioritize vertical market opportunities within the regions   4. Identify new product ideas and funnel to the R&D team   5. Work with Operations to drive smooth operations a. Provide quarterly sales forecasts to manufacturing b. Drive quality improvement by providing prompt feedback and root-cause problem solving in field c. Help customer support as needed to handle delivery-related issues   6. Drive cross-selling initiatives with other Pentair businesses (Pump, Codeline)   7. Work on special projects and perform administrative duties as assigned by the General Manager and National Sales Manager.   8. Support and maintain nondiscriminatory practices in accordance with the Division Affirmative Action Program.
