Independent Toy Dealer Sales Representative

LEGO Systems, Inc. has an opening for an Independent Toy Dealer (ITD) Territory Representative.  This position is an entry level, inside sales position, with a focus towards strategic positioning of LEGO products to retail customers in the Toy Specialty Channel. The mission of the LEGO Sales Organization is to be the “best in class� sales organization in the Toy Industry. The ITD Territory Representative is a critical part of the LEGO Sales Team, communicating to new and existing customers, as well as coordinating efforts with Order Management, Customer Marketing, Forecasting and Field Sales. Key Accountabilities:

•  Develop business strategy to achieve company goals with specialty customers in the assigned territory

•  Proactively contact existing customers and incoming leads to sell LEGO products, merchandising and promotional programs

•  Prospect and find new customers in the assigned territory to gain distribution of LEGO products

•  Effectively articulates the features and benefits of our products and Brand to our customers

•  Monitor and communicate customer service issues/complaints

•  Leverages cross functional teams, such as Customer Marketing, Order Management, Forecasting and Field Sales to assure proper service to our specialty customers

•  Assume additional responsibilities as assigned

•  Achieve monthly and annual sales and profit targets for the territory

 

Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge:

• Bachelors Degree is required

• 1 - 2 years sales experience is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong technical aptitude

• Proven record of accomplishment and over achievement of goals
