Unilever is undergoing a major HR Transformation, outsourcing core HR administration services in most countries, and building a new service delivery model based on globally consistent services and applications. As a result, the role of HR as a strategic support function to the business is being transformed, especially in the way that people data are being managed and maintained in HR systems, and how those data are subsequently utilized through reports, metrics and scorecards.
A new role of HR DQ & IM Manager has been created, to work with each of the major HR groups (three major regions and one global role).
The Americas HR Information Manager will:
• Work with the Americas HR leadership team to develop and implement an HR information management strategy that is aligned with the overall regional HR strategy
• Embed good data and information management practices into the day to day life of HR through developing and delivering a training and capability building program
• Coordinate data quality management efforts across the region alongside the outsourced HR transactional service provider
• Define and manage projects to deliver enhanced reporting, scorecard and metrics capability to HR in the region
• Run a data governance process that reports on transactional data quality and holds the right people accountable for improving it, as well as maintaining a clearly defined data model for the underlying HR systems
• Work with the regional HR service management team to define and manage continuous improvement projects that improve the end to end data management processes across the organization
As a valued partner to the Americas HR leadership team, the candidate will have the opportunity to be a core part of the development of HR strategy for the region, as well as working within an exciting new global team, charged with building HR capability in information management. During the continued transformation of HR, this role will play a critical part in ensuring that newly transformed HR services are deployed successfully to their HR colleagues and that HR can really add value to the business functions they support.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 5 years related HR experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of Peoplesoft (or other HRIS)
• Must have excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills
