Our people are energetic, communicative, team-oriented, caring and motivated. General Summary:We have an opportunity at our manufacturing facility in Abilene, KS. The Health & Safety Coordinator will be responsible for the investigating, coordinating, monitoring and managing all work related injuries/illnesses. In addition will coordinate plant safety programs, including OSHA required training programs. Will coordinate all day to day functions of the First-Aid Station. This person will continually update management on the status of work injury claims. Key Skills: Must be able to handle multiple priorities and re-prioritize as needed. The ability to interact with all levels of management and production personnel. Will maintain accurate and complete records. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work with minimal supervision.Qualifications: Worker’s compensation, OSHA, accident investigation, safety & health programs experience. Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Medical Assistant. Medical clerical background with knowledge of medical terminology and documentation. Claims management a plus.
