Graphic Designer with Packaging Experience

NJ strategic marketing & design firm, specializing in youth market and consumer products is seeking a graphic designer with packaging experience to join our team of talented designers. This individual will be working with a variety of consumer products and should have a real passion for Product Design / Graphic Design. 

 

Very strong skills in layout, type and color and must be able to display conceptual ideas as rough sketches and in electronic format.

 

Create and prepare original art requiring design elements, page composition and basic conceptualization for presentations, marketing collateral, packaging, and direct mail pieces.

 

Experience and Skills Required:

·         Possess an expertise with graphics software tools and equipment including Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and InDesign (technically and artistic).

 

·         Creative graphic design skills including the ability to develop a concept, design it, and layout creative ideas as required with quick turn around

 

·         Enjoyment and participation in the brainstorming process

 

·         Good verbal/presentation skills.

 

·         Strong work ethic and a “whatever it takes� attitude

 

·         Be creative, imaginative and curious

 

·         A fresh thinker who is up to date with current and future industry trends, colors and concepts.
