Geophysicist

Koch Exploration Company, LLC and its subsidiaries acquire, develop and trade heavy crude oil, conventional oil, unconventional gas and conventional natural gas in the United States, Canada and Brazil.Koch Exploration Company is looking for a Geophysicist to join our upstream oil and gas team. The successful candidate will be involved in data interpretation and evaluation of our US, Canadian and Brazilian assets as well as the origination of new opportunities both domestically and internationally. The candidate will work closely with geologists and reservoir engineers in a small team environment.Job Requirements: • 7+ years experience in geophysical interpretation, data acquisition and processing • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) • Excellent computer software skills and data management • Bachelors degree in Geophysics or Geology Preferred • 10+ years experience in the interpretation of complex stratigraphic and structural environments • Extensive knowledge of the US Rocky Mountain Region and Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin • International basin exposure • Management of data acquisition and data processing • Excellent computer skills and be able to effectively manage large seismic data sets • Masters degree in Geophysics Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
