Company: ADT Security Services Location: Alexandria, VA 22301 Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business DevelopmentJob Posted: 9/11/2008 Job Description: To learn more about ADT Security Services, Inc., the world's largest provider of electronic security, please click on the logo above.Overview/Comments:This position will be located in Alexandria, VA.Responsibilities:Summary: Provide administrative support to the ADT General Services Administration Supply Schedule (“the GSA Schedule”) Manager to ensure that all product information and pricing are current and complete and that availability of the Schedule is communicated to the Federal Systems Division and National Accounts Managers. Assist in ensuring that Schedule product & pricing information is coordinated with appropriate parties for incorporation into State Contracts. Provide support to GSA Manager with proposal formatting and GSA Schedule compliance and reporting. Assist with GSA audits. Support the GSA Manager to ensure that Commercial Plan and Small Business and Small Disadvantaged Business Subcontracting regulatory reporting requirements are satisfied.Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Assist the GSA Mgr in maintaining an accurate & current GSA Schedule that incorporates approved suppliers & latest product technology.2. Assist with quarterly sales reports and Industrial Funding Fee (IFF)3. Provide support for Small Business Subcontracting Plan & automated generation & submission of required reports (e.g. SF295).4. Assist with management of the process for submission & approval of GSA Schedule updates with Government Contracting Officer(s).5. Review and Coordination of PRC Violation Reports6. Communicate availability of the GSA Schedule throughout the ADT Sales offices and field Government customer questions.7. Support preparation & pricing of proposals for Government bids.8. Monitor sale of products via the Government automated database to determine required revisions or updates to the Schedule.9. Support FSD trade show events as may be requiredRequirements:Requirements: U. S. CitizenDoD clearance or the ability to obtain clearance.Education: Bachelors degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 3 years GSA Schedule administration experience. Experience with the bid and quote process that supports a US Government contracting model. Skills: Demonstrated Leadership ability and ability to be a team player at all levels. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Knowledge of Federal contract regulations, including legal and compliance as they relate to GSA Supply Schedule contractsAbility to interact with high level internal and external personnel.Business acumen and solid understanding of commercial businesses contracting with Federal agencies/ entities.Independent problem solver Ability to travel at least 15% Advanced MS Office skills, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
