GRAPHIC DESIGNER

IN-HOUSE SENIOR GRAPHIC DESIGNER

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

LORAC Cosmetics is a prestige cosmetics company with a fun and fast paced environment seeking a versatile, talented, creative and innovative full-time senior graphic designer. Strong Design and production/pre-press skills experience a must! Ideal candidates will produce artwork for marketing and sales materials, POP, packaging design, logo development, print ads, renderings, photography, web design as well as communication and collateral materials from concept to finish. You will be working with a very close knit team-product development, marketing, and sales.  A team player personality is a must to be successful here.  Looking for true innovators with broad design capabilities!

Candidate must possess precise attention to detail, be team-oriented, have excellent communication skills and have experience multitasking under tight deadline.  You will prioritize, manage and accomplish multiple projects simultaneously. 

THE IDEAL CANIDATE MUST-HAVE:TALANT AND CREATIVITY! A Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, or equivalent work experience A strong sense for design, familiar with current market trends Designing and typography skills Experience in print design, packaging design, POP and collateral materials Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Mac environment, FTP Strong organizational skills-VERY detail oriented Strong written and verbal communication skills

 

 

KEY COMPETENCIES Ability to incorporate creativity, use sound judgment, organize work, proactively manage multiple priorities and projects in a change-oriented environment, and meet strict deadlines Present samples and prepare layout prints for selection and approval Proficient with graphics file formats and their applications; full understanding of printing processes, including four-color Ability to generate new ideas/approaches/solutions, as well as work within established parameters, as needed Ability to understand/follow creative direction and incorporate constructive feedback A team player who can work independently and excels in developing strong internal and external working relationships

A PLUS!A passion for makeup is huge plus! Beauty & skincare packaging design experience Knowledge of pre-press, printing, comps, and mechanicals highly desirable Web designs a plus!
