Fleet Supervisor

Job Purpose:

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the daily operations of the Fleet Maintenance department within the designated area along with ensuring that all Fleet equipment is maintained in a safe and serviceable manner.

Duties:

Ensure that preventative maintenance programs are being followed at all locations.

Performs quality control audits.

Ensures accuracy of documentation generated by employees at CCE/vendor shops for all maintenance activities.

Generates capital refurbishment schedule based on need and available capital funding.

Provide training for all subordinate personnel.

Ensure proper disposal and documentation of waste stream items.

Assists subordinates in making decisions concerning efficiency of shop operations. Ensure all maintenance and repairs are performed in a cost effective manner.

Supervise operations to ensure compliance according to Company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Ensures that parts inventories are maintained at correct efficiency levels.

Coordinates members of all functional areas to ensure that equipment needs are met.

Ensure that all vehicles are prepared for transfer or disposal as needed



Skills/Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED equivalent required.

Minimum 5 years in Fleet Maintenance required.

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience required.

Strong mathematical skills.

Ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.

Ability to provide direction to subordinates in a clear and concise manner.

Valid Class A Commercial Driving License.

Ability to work a flexible work schedule if needed

Must be able to lift and move items in excess of 50 lbs.

Requires travel to designated service area
