Financial Pricing Manager (Consumer Products Manufacturer)

Summary:

North American division is responsible for the sales of the Company’s products which are sold in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico in the prestige and mass channels of distribution. 

Responsibilities:

Reports to the Vice President of Finance.

Leads the pricing process in North America.

Analyzes existing pricing practices and makes recommendations to optimize products pricing across product liens and individual sku’s.

Analyzes margins for all the business unit’s products to ensure margins objectives are met.

Work with the marketing group to effectively understand, report and recommend Manufacture’s Suggested Retail Prices  

Review promotional programs pricing to determine which price points drive sales.

Works with foreign currencies in addition to the US Dollar

Requirements:

5-7 years analytical experience within consumer goods or retail industries.

Self-starter; able to work (and manage) independently.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for interaction with senior management.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (Hyperion & Business Objects skills a plus)

Strong analytical skills; must be proactive and able to identify and resolve problems.

BA degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
