In addition to sales offices in North America, the company has a sales presence in Italy, Switzerland, Hong Kong and Belgium to serve global customers.The Environmental Engineer- Water Compliance System Owner duties include;• Refinery Water Program, Ground Water Remediation, Waste Management Program, Technical Leader, and Environmental Team Member. • Tasks include maintaining Permit updates, certifications, data collection, record keeping; capable of implementing systems and tools to support compliance systems. • Supervise the Environmental Technician • Participate in the planning/development and support of projects at FHR Alaska sites. • Performing incident investigations • Sharing on-call duties with Environmental Department peers Flint Hills Resources is a Wichita, Kansas-based refining and chemicals company that is wholly owned by Koch Industries. Advanced degree in Sciences may be substituted for experience.Work Experience and Skills Preferred• Broad understanding of various Environmental disciplines • 5+ years experience with Environmental Air or Water Programs preferred Education Required•Bachelor's Degree in SciencesEducation Preferred•Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering Degree.Physical RequirementsMust be able to communicate freely and effectively via normal work place channels using phone, computer network, and direct means. Must be able to work effectively on computer for extended periods of time.
