SUMMARY:
Elizabeth Arden is transforming global business processes and systems. Processes included in this transformation include Finance, Order to Cash, Distribution and Purchasing. The systems included in this transformation are Manugistics, Hyperion and JBA, the company’s current Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
In addition, the company has committed to the global replacement of JBA with JD Edwards – EnterpriseOne ERP. Critical to the effort is the EnterpriseOne Solutions Architect. The successful candidate will work with business clients to define, design and implement world class business processes in Finance, Order to Cash and Distribution. Provide consultative guidance in how to leverage best in class processes and technology to meet our business need.
Experience implementing JD Edwards EnterpriseOne is required for this position. The successful candidate will participate in the maintenance and governance of Elizabeth Arden ERP define standard business model. Also work with key team leaders in Finance, Order to Cash, Supply Chain, Master Data Management, Integration and Business Intelligence to ensure consistency of standard business model, determine where localizations are appropriate and facilitate knowledge transfer. Specific responsibilities include: Analysis of business requirements, assisting the information technology and business teams design and configure the application to meet business requirements, testing and implementation of designed solution and documentation as required. Embedded in this work will be the responsibility to govern and maintain processes and systems consistent with Elizabeth Arden’s standard business model.
SUPERVISION:
This position reports to the Senior VP Global Systems Delivery. This position will be based in Stamford, Connecticut.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Operates as a consultant, working within the EnterpriseOne business and IT implementation teams to provide best in class standard business solutions, design, develop and implement business solutions
· Provides Business Process Improvement services, working within Finance, Order to Cash, Supply Chain and Master Data Management teams to re-engineer targeted business processes and to apply continuous improvement disciplines
· Works with the EnterpriseOne implementation team to leverage ‘best practices’ into business operations
· Perform impact and system analysis based on business requirements
· Assist other business system managers or lead a sub-team of designers and specification writers
· Develop and nurture consensus and working relationships with technical teams from other IT sub-teams
· Lead or participate in technical solutions discussions and strategy on a regular basis; collaborating with other technical teams in the exchange and transfer of technical knowledge and in the development and evolution of standard best class business models.
· Provides hands-on Project Management services for Extended Supply Chain projects, including JD Edwards
· Provides full Project Life Cycle Management services, including Opportunity Identification, Business Case Development, Requirements Definition, Systems Analysis, System Design, Build, Test, Implement and Quality Assurance.
· Assists in the development of requisite systems plans and technology architectures.
· Supports the relevant standards and methodologies.
· Develops and maintains appropriate documentation.

Required Skills:
The person must demonstrate skills in the following areas:
· Solid understanding of business processes supported by ERP
· Executive management skills – proven ability to work with, interact, and influence senior business managers and other business executives
· IT Best Practices knowledge
· Full Project Life Cycle Management.
· Management of software supplier relationships
· In-depth experience with Manugistics
· In-depth experience in either JDE or Supply Chain operations
· Technical Capabilities
o Demonstrable knowledge of JD Edwards
o UNIX/Oracle environments
o Middleware integration tools
o Business Objects and/or Oracle Discoverer
Other Qualifications:
· Four-year college degree in Computer Science, Business, or related fields. Experience and/or other training will be considered in lieu of a degree. An advance degree is a decided plus
· 10 plus years of relevant experience in Extended Supply Chain solutions
· 5 plus years of management responsibilities
· Extensive experience in global consumer goods
· Excellent communications (written and oral), change management, leadership, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to operate in a matrixed, global environment
· Extensive experience operating with business teams at the highest levels
· Excellent organization and time management, vendor management, and project management skills
· A high sense of the importance of business urgencies
· Solid quantitative / analytical skills and good business judgment
