Engineering / Sr. Technician--Consumer Audio/Wireless Products -Includes a full benefits package.
Our company, located in Northbrook, Illinois is designing and building a whole new generation of revolutionary audio accessories for ipod/MP3 players and mobile phones. Our patent pending, proprietary products will be introduced to US and international retailer and carrier channels over the next 6 months. We are looking for an aggressive, creative and dynamic technician / engineer to help our team develop and guide our new products through to the manufacturing / market stage.Â

This person should be able to support all facets of designing and manufacturing of the company’s new products, but specifically will:Â
-Â help develop specifications that allow our products to interface with CE products in the market;
-Â assist in R&D of materials and technology used to create our products;
-Â create and test prototype circuits with our third party or in-house resources;
-Â provide technical guidance and communicate with our manufacturing partners in Asia; and
- Â conduct lab testing of prototypes provided by outside vendors.

This person should possess and want to expand his/her knowledge of:
- Â Â wireless technologies (such as Bluetooth);
- Â Â cell phone functionality and protocols;
  -        acoustics and acoustic circuits.
Â
You must be familiar with MS Office, and have good written and verbal communications skills. Entrepreneurial drive coupled with creativity is highly desirable for our anticipate growth. Some travel will be required (up to 6 weeks/year, some Europe and Asia).  This requires a BS degree and three years of professional experience (consumer electronics or wireless industry experience is a plus). Includes a full benefits package.
