Electronic Technician - Call (916) 393-7099Description: Want a career instead of a job? Immediate need for an Electronic Tech who will maintain, install, repair, modify and troubleshoot DC circuits and circuit boards. Knowledge and skills required but not limited to the following: Relationship between voltage, current and resistance. Application of Ohm's Law to series, parallel and series-parallel circuits. Physical and electrical characteristics and capacitors and inductors. DC voltage divider circuits. RL and RC circuits characteristics. Maintain, install, repair, modify and troubleshoot AC circuits and circuit boards. Knowledge and skills required, but not limited to the following: Properties and characteristics of the AC signal (sinusoidal and non-sinusoidal wave forms). Motor/generator theory and operation. Operation and application of power conditioning equipment (I.E., isolation transformers, surge suppressers, uninteruptable power systems). Proper grounding of AC systems. AC capacitive and inductive systems.Maintain, troubleshoot and repair motor control centers (MCC) and all circuit protection devices. Troubleshoot, repair, maintain and modify board level circuits. Able to diagnose failed AC/DC components, identify and replace failed components such as resistors, capacitors, SCR's and inductors. Work from, update and correct electrical drawings, blueprints and control diagrams. Maintain, troubleshoot, repair and modify programmable logic controllers. Ability to develop and/or modify ladder logic for PLC's for line control, instrumentation I/P, equipment and systems controls, etc. Understand theory of operation and programming of area equipment such as the ADR-50, Ramsey checkweighers, Filtecs, Metras, CTC's, etc. Requirements: Know and understand how test equipment works and when, where and how to use it.
