National plastic blow molding manufacturer of custom and stock containers has an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic Electrical Controls Engineer in their Modesto, CA facility.

Job Description

The responsibilities of the position include troubleshooting, maintaining and upgrading of electrical control systems.  The position requires emphasis on PLC programming, CAD documentation, Vision Systems, machine guarding and safety systems, and machine integration to existing equipment.  The Electrical Engineer is a “hands-onâ€� employee and a significant portion of time is to be spent on the plant floor implementing new systems and improvements.

Electrical Controls Engineer Preferred Experience and SkillsThe ideal candidate should have knowledge of industrial controls using ladder schematics, one-line documentation, AutoCAD, PLC software, VFD programming, hydraulics and pneumatics.  In addition a strong knowledge of Vision Systems is necessary.  A BSEE or equivalent degree and at least five years prior experience is required.
