ERP Business Analyst

Partnering across a team that includes developers, business champions, end users, and contractors, this position will define business processes and requirements, coordinate projects and technology tasks, support key applications, and test enhancements. The applications scope includes IFS ERP and manufacturing/production systems. Effective communication skills will be essential to succeed in a fast paced environment where the team members and stake holders are spread across nation-wide business operations.

 

This position supports end-users with the ERP system (IFS). The position gathers and translates management strategy and business needs from which solutions, metrics, and measures can be implemented for improving operational performance. The position will provide expertise in the modeling/mapping of business processes, conduct as-is/to-be business processes, is instrumental in the business process re-engineering (BPR), and involved in change management. The position performs a liaison function between the business units, the information technology department and external service providers.

Qualified Applicants will have: Bachelors degree in related field;4+ years experience in requirements/systems analysis capacity and a minimum of at least two full cycle implementations/projects; and,4+ years of experience with: hands on analysis experience with transaction driven platforms and major ERP applications (e.g. Oracle, SAP, IFS, Great Plains, etc);Demonstrated experience providing application support in a multi-site environment;Demonstrated in depth knowledge of Visio, Access, and MS-Project;Demonstrated experience with project planning and management, including an expert level of comfort in creating project documentation formats and templates; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
