Contribute to the success of Avon! We are looking for an adaptable, self-motivated, passionate, creative team player to join our newly built Distribution Facility in Zanesville, OH as an EHS Manager.

 

ResponsibilitiesLead the NA Supply Chain safety efforts by developing and driving implementation of safety and occupational health processes that effectively reduce the frequency and severity of occupational injuries and illnesses. Coordinate the administration of worker's compensation claims. Provide current information regarding developments in safety and health regulations to Supply Chain and location management to facilitate regulatory compliance Develop aggressive goals and objectives to evaluate safety performance. Implement a monthly scorecard to assist in the tracking process.

 





Requirements

 

Bachelor’s degree required preferably in Safety, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or Engineering5-7 yearrs safety, health and loss prevention management responsibilites in manufacturing or distribution preferred.Certification in one or more of the following:  CSP, PE CIH, OHST, ARM.Technical expertise with a well developed knowledge of hazard control principles, and safety and health regulatory requirements.
