District Field Service Manager

SummaryThis position will cover the following territory: Rhode Island, Connecticut, and adjacent areas of New York Hayward Pool Products, the leading manufacturer of swimming pool equipment and products has an immediate opening for an individual with at least 3-5 years of technical field management experience, including hands-on field technical service experience. Experience in the pool and related industry network is preferred. Essential Job Duties/Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. You will be responsible for managing, supporting and training ‘Hayward / Goldline Authorized Service Centers’ within your defined territory. You will also be responsible for recruitment of new service centers when required to support Hayward customers in your territory. You will be responsible for all managerial aspects of contracted service partners and as a liaison between the customer and the service partner. Additional responsibilities include training and support for distributor and retail customers, working in concert with the sales team. Education, Experience, Licenses/Certificate / and skills to perform the jobCandidate should have current knowledge of local building codes involving pool equipment installations. Mechanical and electrical knowledge as it relates to pool equipment and control systems for pool equipment is preferred. However, candidates with a technical discipline and management experience will also be considered. Ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills (verbal & written), interpersonal skills, and a strong knowledge of Windows based PC skills. The ideal candidate is an independent self-starter who can handle all aspects of field service management and is detailed oriented & organized.
