Director of Human Resources (reports to CEO)

My Client, a $150M manufacturer of consumer goods, has asked my help in locating a dynamic HR professional to partner with the CEO and senior management team.  The scope of the job is a multiplant maufacturer with 3 operations in the US and 1 in Mexico.  All of these plants are union free and operate under LEAN manufacturing principles.  They have experienced solid growth and are currently the #2 leader in their industry with well known brand names.  Total employee population over 500.  This is the top HR position in the company.  This is a terrific opportunity to build your own world class and highly credible human resources department as this is a newly created position.

An MBA is desired and you should have large plant or multi plant experience with a minimum of 10 years of progressive Human Resources Experience.  The ideal candidate will be a hands on "doer" as this is a hands on position.  Your experience should encompass employee relations, recruiting, developing policies and procedures; benefits administration and safety within a progressive manufacturing setting (Six Sigma, LEAN or other progressive systems).  Experience with a Mexican manufacturing plant would be an added plus.

Local Lexington or Georgetown candidates preferred; however relocation assistance is available to those that are qualifited and have a strong desire to live in this area.

Respond in complete confidence as your resume will not go anywhere until we talk and I have your permission to send it to our client.  Our global agency has been in business 15+ years and we work with integrity and honesty. Over the last 4 years, 84% of our placements are STILL with the company we placed them with  Please respond with a Microsoft Word attachment to: Chris Ederer:  Chris@jobsdoctor.com
