DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING
Are you ready to climb the next rung in the corporate ladder? If so, a Dynamic opportunity exists for you as the new Director of Engineering in this West Michigan leader!
Our Client – a growing, multi-billion dollar global non-automotive leader – seeks a Director of Engineering. In this position you will be responsible for developing and introducing new products to the marketplace. Under your responsibility will be multiple locations and a group of approximately 50 employees including seven managers.
Attributes for the successful candidate will include:
• Bachelor’s Degree – Mechanical Engineering, required – Masters in Mechanical or Electrical would be ideal
• Proven ability in higher level Engineering Management of a large organization with Production Development responsibility
• Great, confident, dynamic and mature leader who can mentor their direct reports and can be looked up to
• Minimum of 10 years Engineering experience desired - Experience working with global teams and cross-regional projects is a plus
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a strong commitment to integrity and will be a high energy, self starting leader with superior standards.
• Maintain current standards of Lean Manufacturing certifications
