Director, Global Marketing-SKINCARE, MAKEUP, COLOR, FRAGRANCE

Several global NYC based cosmetics manufacturers are seeking DIRECTORS for the categories of; Skincare, Makeup, Color and Fragrance.

Oversee all marketing plans to drive growth of Brands. Contributes to the development of the Brand's product, packaging, promotion, merchandising and ensures the timely execution of all plans. Coordinates the marketing calendars for the US, International and Travel Retailing, Interacts with each group to determine their specific needs. Works with Creative and Packaging to develop unique promotional support programs for new and existing products. Works closely with all support groups to achieve the successful on-time implementation of all programs. Works with Product Development to launch new and innovative products in the category, which meet strategic and business objectives and specific  geographic requirements. Develops product positioning, packaging, and pricing recommendations. Presents concepts to management and markets for feedback. Issues concept proposals and PDRs and briefs all relevant players to initiate production of the items. Develops innovative and cost effective key item programs to address individual market opportunities in addition to the basic calendar. Prepares regular basis analyses to monitor and track brand development. Remains knowledgeable of new trends and consumer tastes in order to determine how they can apply to the Brand. Responsible for chairing business unit meetings and must be perceived as a strong contributor of the 'idea generation' that will facilitate new concepts from the group. New ideas will be in the form of products, special events, support materials, packaging and creative visuals.

Position requires 8+ solid years marketing experience in the COSMETIC industry. Must have strong analytical, creative communications. Must be a strategic thinker, well-organized, flexible, independent, self-starter and possess and Entrepreneurial Spirit.
