POSITION TITLE: Customer Service Representative

(Print industry experience in a customer service or sales role required.)

 

LOCATION:  North Kansas City, MO

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

The customer service position coordinates the production of sold jobs and facilitates communication between the customer, the sales force and the plant.  Involves all aspects of production coordination, order management, accuracy and tracking, customer contact, and invoicing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Model HWI’s core values of integrity, excellence, innovation, involvement and customer success

· Analyze all information on sales order and estimate to ensure complete and correct information is available to produce the product efficiently and in keeping with customer’s expectations

· Track and manage job from order-entry through invoicing

· Counsel and advise customers

· Communicate job status to customer and sales representative

· Provide direction to and coordinate with manufacturing departments

· Arrange purchase of outside services when necessary

· Coordinate color approvals

· Invoice completed jobs

· Professionally interact with diverse personalities to include employees, customers, and visitors, in person and by phone.

· Support others in the customer service department and throughout the facility in delivering world-class customer service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Customer Service or sales experience in the printing industry

· Possess strong communication, follow through and organizational skills

· Strong ability to deal with customer demands and shifting priorities

· Must be a team player with problem solving skills

· Proficient in MS Excel & Word

· College degree preferred
