Family owned and operated for over 60 years, Bel-Art Products, located in Pequannock New Jersey, is a leading manufacturer of products for use in the laboratory. Our well-known Scienceware® line of convenience items for use in the laboratory consists of a wide variety of time and money-saving products.  We also have several subsidiaries, the largest of which is, Maddak, Inc., specializing in rehabilitative products for the disabled, offers Ableware®, one of the most comprehensive product lines of "Aids for Daily Living" available in America.

 

We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Customer Service Representative for our Scienceware line.

 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

· Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, fax and e-mail

· Order entry from phone orders, faxes, e-mails and EDI

· Verify stock status and lead times

· Verify and investigate short-shipments, technical support, order status

· Resolve discrepancies pertaining to orders and process customer returns

· Communicate with customers regarding shipments, orders, return authorizations, lead times, and stock status etc via e-mail, fax and/or telephone

 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

· College Degree helpful

· Minimum 2 years in Customer Service in a manufacturing facility; call center experience a +

· Must be computer literate; MS Word, Excel and Outlook

· Must have ability to handle difficult customers in a professional and courteous manner

· Must be proactive and function well as a problem solver

· Ability to handle multiple priorities a must.

· Must possess good organizational and communication skills.

· Must possess the ability to handle heavy phone contact with customers and distributors

· Must be detail oriented, and posses the ability to learn and relate to technical services

· Must be a team player

 

 

 

We offer a casual, but professional office environment scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 – 5:00 and a ompetitive salary, Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, 401K, Profit Sharing, LTD & Tuition Reimbursement.
