We are searching for a Cost Accounting Manager to add to our growing team.  Responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:

 Ensuring inventory accounting is in accordance with GAAPMaintain accurate work-in-process and perpetual inventory recordsMonitoring standard costs and adjustments to standard costsAnalyze monthly department purchase price variances and explain accounting for variances/variance capitalization to departmental managersEnsure supplier issues are addressed on a timely basisParticipate in physical inventoriesReview monthly Excess & Obsolete (E&O) analysis and recording appropriate journal entries ensure completeness and accuracy of calculationAccount for the disposition of E&O materialProvide updates on special topics monthlyWork with Materials group to ensure that planned inventory levels meet desired customer cycle time and service level agreementsAssist with P&L and Working Capital vs. Forecast reportingPerform month-end close responsibilities

 

 

To be successful in the role of Cost Accounting Manager, your qualifications will include:

 Bachelors DegreeCPA, or CMA certification8 + years total experience, to include 2+ years in manufacturing / logistics
