Cost Accountant / Inventory Manager to $75K
Corporate Headquarters seeks Cost Accountant / Inventory Manager for their Central New Jersey operation. This position report to the Senior VP of Operations; the Manager is responsible for the administering the cost accounting/inventory/standard costing systems.
Responsibilities:
*Managing the cost accounting and inventory control team
*Analyzing various accounts related to inventory and standard costing
*Overseeing inventory of 21 locations in the US
*Updating yearly standard costs for all products and locations
*Work closely with all departments; i.e. inventory control people at outside locations and the various accounting firms.
Required:
*Bachelors Degree in Accounting or a related field
*5 + years business experience managing inventory/costing activities in a production/standard cost environment
*Proficiency in Word and Excel
*JD Edwards experience is preferred, but not required.
