Corporate Quality Engineer
Corporate Quality Engineer
The Corporate Quality Engineer will be involved in the execution of product development projects that have significant impact to the business while meeting performance, cost and schedule requirements. Projects include but are not limited to new products, line extensions, advance development, cost reductions, continuous improvements and compliance to standards. Projects will typically be with dedicated multi-functional teams assigned to deliver benefits to the business and will require the ability to multitask.
Qualifications
BS/MS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
5 - 7 years of relevant experience
Project management skills (Desired)
CQE (Desired)
Proven team leadership skills
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Participated in cross-functional teams (Marketing, Industrial Design, Engineering, Design Assurance, Sourcing, Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, etc)
Champion and drive the Global Product Development Process (GPDS)
Track, measure and review program metrics, schedule, budget and issues
Facilitate the development and tracking of detailed program schedules
Facilitate the writing and release of specifications for both manufactured and sourced products
Assure program deliverables are complete and meet requirements within the timeline
Responsible for the scheduling, delivery and presentation of GPDS Tollgate Reviews
Integrate and provide information and direction to the Hong Kong team for sourced products
Integrate and provide information and direction to the Plant team for manufactured products
Promote communications between the core team(s), extended team(s) and the rest of the organization
Integrate and align assigned resources across multiple projects through indirect sphere of influence.
Location: South Florida
Salary Range: $75K - $85K
