COORDINATOR - MDC/Learning for DevelopmentReports to: Manager, Learning for DevelopmentResponsible for Professional Expertise programsSUMMARYThe primary responsibilities of this position are to support the Professional Expertise team in coordinating and executing training programs. The accountabilities include all program logistics, contributing to the program content and facilitation. PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION Enrollment- Accurately maintain Participant recap - Maintain enrollments and accuracy of all program information- Monitor and proactively recruit (initiate e-messages such as 'heads up' and 'save the date', communicate on risks, cancellations vs. budget and trend goals)Budget- Request, approve, and process all program related expenses and invoices - Accurately maintain trend and communicate on budget risks- Prepare and present budget statusLogistics- Identify and secure appropriate venues - Coordinate program materials, room set up and break down, food, transportation, AV and material packing and shipping- Initiate invitation/pre-work - Manage all logistical aspects during programs- Maintain program archives in shared drive (logistics details, evaluations and presentations)- Initiate Learning Impact survey III a and b - Special projects as requiredCONTRIBUTION TO PROGRAM CONTENT AND FACILITATION - Analyze participants' survey results and snapshot- Schedule and help brief internal and external consultants- Selectively attend programs- Facilitate opening and workshop activities- Consolidate qualitative and quantitative evaluations and provide point of view - Initiate and publish program 'toolbox' - Consolidate Learning Impact Survey III results EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSEducation / Experience- Bachelor degree preferred - Minimum two (2) years prior administrative experience in a fast paced environmentSkills- Well-developed communication skills (verbal and written), with strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively across multiple departments and with all levels of management.- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with Photoshop/Quark a plusCompetencies Required- Energetic multi-tasker- Strong sense of customer service- Self motivated and creative problem solver- Flexible and committed- Must possess a sense of timing and urgency- Ability to prioritize effectively - Sense of details and accuracy- Team spirit- Strong project management skills- Must be flexible to work extended hours as required
