POSITION SUMMARY:This leadership position provides strategic long-term financial guidance and champions or creates a vision for change. This person will partner with the strategic business unit/function to maximize performance throughout the organization. Provides leadership in actively coaching and developing team members. Ensures cross-functional team compliance with internal, external and operational audit requirements.This position is responsible for establishing, promoting and proactively enhancing business processes and championing a culture of business excellence. Key areas of responsibility include project management, decision support and financial analysis, planning and reporting. This position will partner will Purchasing to help forecast and report raw material and packaging material price movements for all parts of the organization including NUSA, Nutrition, Dreyers and Nestle Waters. In addition, this position will assist Global NBS in broadening the scope and control of key raw material throughout all of Nestle worldwide.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESPosition responsibilities which are subject to change, include but are not limited to, the following:Oversee the Commodity Purchasing groups trading of Futures and Options for key raw and packaging material to ensure that there are proper controls are maintained in accordance with Nestle Accounting Standards (NAS) and International Accounting Standards (IAS39). Managing the operations of Commodities Finance group:* Risk Management:1) Reporting risk position (priced cover and futures/options) by business unit.2) Monitoring margin account balances.3) Audit of daily trading activities.4) Reporting realized and unrealized futures and options gains/ losses.5) Ensure that buying practices conform to purchasing policies set by management.6) Key raw material circuit breaker reporting.* Reporting and Analysis:1) Monthly Magnitude reporting-Key Raw Materials.2) Work with buyers to prepare forecast of commodity costs and other market projections.3) Assist business units in pricing decisions and budget preparation.* Systems1) Maintenance of existing NCPS commodities system.2) Assist in developing and implementing system enhancements or new system applications.* Vendor/Supplier Relations:1) Ensure timely processing and payment of vendor invoices-Key commodities.2) Work with Purchasing to seek out and take advantage of opportunities to reduce price, improve efficiencies in work processes and increase value to Nestlé.* Other projects as required.
