These core values govern our actions every day, and reflect what is truly important to us as an organization.Company: Brink's, IncorporatedCoin Separator Verification Clerk Job Description: Brink’s U.S., a Division of Brink’s, Incorporated, the largest and most respected provider of armored and cash management services in the world, is seeking an experienced Coin Separator Verification Clerk. This position is responsible for properly verifying and accounting for all subject to count items; monitoring and reporting any and all significant out of tolerance issues; assisting with minor maintenance/repair of equipment and machines and report/monitor same; and maintain organization and cleanliness of production area. Specific Job Duties:• Monitor performance of sorting/counting machines and immediately report any issues affecting production or accuracy.• Immediately report all significant variances ($10 or +/- 1%)• Immediately report and/or set aside suspicious STC items. (Declared value discrepancies, denominational discrepancies, etc.)• Enter all verification activity into logs as processed.• Keep machine and work area clean and orderly, including all adjacent wall, tables, cabinets and storage areas.• Report any anticipated occurrence of not being able to meet customer expected process times before end of shift so that proper communication with customer or shift adjustment can be addressed.• Familiarize yourself with any and all verification/receiving procedures that you may not be comfortable performing during vacation/sick rotations and coverages.• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager. Skills/Qualifications:Minimum qualifications include:• Above average math skills with understanding of accounting balance processes• Must be able / willing to multitask in fast-paced production environment• Must exhibit flexibility and willingness to be familiar with and perform at all verification stations• Willingness to learn and teach• Must be very detail oriented• Must be able to lift 50 lb. bags• Must be able to operate all applicable lift equipment• Knowledge and ability to work with computers
