Responsibilities:
Reports to the Customer Marketing Manager.
Evaluate the sales, distribution and trade marketing support to support the brand management group’s strategic and tactical efforts.
Collects and helps to interpret and understand consumer data applications.
Monitor the respective category and segment class of trade trends.
Manage the use of syndicated data and how it reveals specific consumer behavior within the category and assigned brands.
Provide periodic category and brand updates for management.
Understands market share and retail pricing, trade support and distribution and overall market analysis both at the National and local levels as needed.
Requirements:
Four to five years of Category/Business analysis within the Consumer Packaged Goods Industry.
Syndicated data experience with AC Nielsen and IRI.
Solid computer skills i.e. Excel, Word and PowerPoint Programs.
Willingness to develop one’s skills set and advance within the company.
Ability to gather and interpret data for the marketing and sales team whereby solid business decisions can be made.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven problem solving skills to using deductive reasoning and understanding hierarchical relationships.
Bachelor’s degree in Business or statistics.
