In this capacity, the Business Analyst will interact with individuals and business functions in locations as varied as Houston, London, Geneva, and Singapore and will be provided with opportunities to travel, both domestically and abroad. Other duties of the Business Analyst include, but are not limited to: • Providing leadership in process analysis, process and system design, and in the implementation of business systems that support functional goals and objectives • Collaborating with Business and IT development regularly to identify solutions that span multiple business units or functions; ensuring the consistency and portability of these solutions • Developing proposals and business cases for the advancement of technology or processes within a supported function • Providing estimates of resources required for assigned projects as well as contributing to the development and support of staffing plans and funding requests • Project Management as needed Job Requirements: • Minimum of three (3) years Business Analyst or similar IT experience • Superior analytical and problem solving skills • Superior communication and organizational skills • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (Accounting, Finance, Economics) Preferred • Previous experience working in a commodity trading environment • Detailed knowledge of the trading business and front-to-back knowledge of trading business processes Compensation/Benefits Competitive wages and benefits packages commensurate with experience.
