Every location offers an environment that values each of its employees! JOB DESCRIPTION: The position will have responsibility for a variety of packaging projects across multiple compositions. Project work includes development of new packaging for Growth programs, Productivity initiatives, Quality Improvements projects, and Core business initiatives. Responsibilities include: Total project management Packaging Design Financial feasibilities Coordination and execution of packaging material testing in both laboratory and production environments. Completion of trial reports, packaging specifications, and related documentation. Coordination of projects activities with packaging suppliers Cross-functional coordination with multiple levels or the organization – Marketing, Logistics, Operations, Quality Assurance, and Engineering. Travel will be required to fulfill project requirements, monitor production line trials at plants, visit suppliers where necessary and support other project team activities. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Excellent written and oral communication skills High degree of professionalism and strong analytical skills BS/MS Packaging or Technical Degree Minimum 2 years experience in Package Development Experience with film, paperboard, and corrugate a plus Strong organization and project management skills Must be a self starter, customer oriented, team player, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
