Associate Content Producer

Fisher-Price Character Brands is located in bustling downtown Manhattan. Our offices cover two floors in the Barnes & Noble Building on 6th Avenue between 21st and 22nd Streets. This area is also known as the Chelsea District or the Toy District and is the home of the International Toy Fair. ' Responsible for working independently as well as with senior producer to develop content for interactive educational preschool toys (including scripts, play patterns, sound recordings etc). ' Create and/or edit design documents or flowcharts for high complexity scripts' Write toy scripts, or supervise external scriptwriters ' Work closely with counterparts in Marketing, Design and Engineering to ensure business objectives are met' Work closely with external content development vendors to ensure quality and schedule' Act as a liaison with licensors on play patterns, scripts and approvals as required' Maintain and archive all project assets ' Track content development schedule for assigned products to ensure timely turnover of files to Engineering' Edit audio files and do hands on production work as needed' Responsible for creating demos for Toy Fair presentations, etc' Support senior level producers as needed Required:' BA or BS degree with 1-3 years of previous experience in content development for toys, web, interactive/video games, publishing or similar medium' Computer proficiency (MS office applications) ' High level of creativity with strong creative problem solving skills' Strong communications skills (verbal and written)' Well-developed writing skills' Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization as well as with external vendors' Excellent time management skills with ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines' Strong organizations skills with excellent follow through and attention to detail' Proactive, self-starter with ability to make independent decisions and display sound judgment Preferred:' Proficiency or fluency in Spanish language' Previous content development experience for preschool audience Contact Information Company: Fisher-Price Reference Code: 81111
