Assistant Financial Controller

Slendertone Distribution Inc. is a globalconsumer products company with a world-class medically-driven R&D heritage.The Company now has an immediate need for a motivated professional with ademonstrated record of professional achievement to assist in the furtherdevelopment of our US businessOur business is currentlyexpanding and we need to add to our core group of people as we introduce newproducts and increase our customer base. Products are currently distributedprimarily through Internet and Retail channels.

The Assistant Financial Controllerwill work closely with the Managing Director SDI, Operations and Sales andMarketing teams to achieve company objectives, specifically the achievement ofthe annual financial budget

The ideal candidate will bea self-starter, possessing a positive, ‘can-do’ attitude and using theirexperience and judgment to accomplish goals. They will also have adetail-oriented, quality-focused approach with the ability to manage parallelactivities 

Responsibilities: Production of accurate and on time monthly financial statements for Slendertone USA to include Income Statement and Balance Sheet with commentary. To reconcile all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, and specifically to ensure provisions for product returns and bad debt are accurate. Management of Slendertone USA cash flow. To include weekly actual and forecast cash reporting. Management of the annual audit to agreed timelines. Management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable. Ensure all tax returns and payments are current (e.g. Payroll Taxes; Sales Taxes) Leadership and management of the accounting team in Hoboken. Assist in the production of the annual budget. Ensure direct reports have objectives and role profiles in place and manage their performance through the company performance management process
